November 30th, 2017

DALLAS, Texas – Rimrock Energy Partners, LLC (“REP”) is pleased to announce that it has commenced construction of a new natural gas processing facility and extensive gas gathering system in Weld County, Colorado (the “Pierce Plant & Gathering System”). The new gathering and processing system will serve producers in the northwest portion of the DJ Basin’s Wattenberg Field.

When completed in the first quarter of 2019, the Pierce Plant will provide its customers with up to 200 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of cryogenic gas processing capacity and access to premium residue gas and NGL markets. The Pierce Gathering System will initially consist of 30 miles of trunkline and a system of low-pressure gathering pipelines to deliver gas from producer locations to the Pierce Plant.

“We are excited to begin construction of our Pierce project in response to the growing need for midstream services in the northwest portion of the Wattenberg Field, resulting from the exceptional production results being achieved by our committed shippers.” said Josh Cruzan, CEO of REP. “We recognize the critical role of reliable and responsive midstream service for our customers, and the Rimrock team is committed to the successful execution of this project.”
